IETF 106

Starting on 16 November, the Internet Engineering Task Force will be in Singapore for IETF 106, where around 1,000 engineers will discuss open Internet standards and protocols.

The week begins on Saturday 16 November, with a Hackathon and Code Sprint. The IETF meeting itself begins on Sunday 17 November and goes through Friday afternoon, 22 November.

The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is the premier Internet standards body, developing open standards through open processes to make the Internet work better. The IETF is a large open international community of network designers, operators, vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution of the Internet architecture and the smooth operation of the Internet.
